Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist


Support the Sixthman team by owning the overall marketing, communications, and PR strategy for assigned events. Develop and maintain industry wide media, advertising, and pomotional relationships including counterparts at NCLH. Create and implement a comprehensive event meida plan that maximizes awareness, drives traffic, increases audience connections, and moves cabin inventory. Advance the overall Sixthman brand and guide teammates and support staff.

Support the company’s marketing department including:

  • Own Sixthman’s traditional, digital, and PR strategy and calendar for assigned events.
  • Grow first party data for Sixthman and assigned events.
  • Train, mentor, and collaborate with assigned Marketing Specialist. Ensure all communications are supporting, strengthening, and complementing paid and promotional efforts.
  • Represent Marketing on the Event Team for assigned events.
  • Develop relationships witih traditional, digital, and promotional media partners to surface new opportunities for Sixthman events.
  • Maximize use of company’s current marketing tools and platforms for communication, placements, tracking, reporting, and beyond.
  • Advance Sixthman’s show & tell marketing approach and utilize best practices for all creative, photo, and video assets.
  • Collaborate with host, talent, NCLH, and Sixthman PR teams to draft and service releases to maximize press coverage for Sixthman events.
  • Work with Marketing Specialist to ensure proper vision is captured for event creative and assets are trafficked to all appropriate parties.
  • Connect directly with host and talent marketing teams to coordiante joint promotions for all event milestones.
  • Develop an onboard photo/video content plan with the Marketing Specialist that showcases each event in the moment, prepares the Event Team to launch the next event (if applicable), and sets the event up for success for future promotions.

· Attend several of the Company’s events annually to serve as marketing and media liason onboard.

· Additional projects and duties as assigned.


· Bachelor’s degree required.

· 4-5 years of relevant experience.

· Experience with PR strategy and media relations.

· Well versed in traditional marketing strategies and media buying Radio, TV, etc.

· Proficienct in Google Ad Suite as well as Google Analytics and Datastudio.

· Proficienct in Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and other paid social media channels.

· Experience with email service providers (Salesforce) and CDP platforms (Segment).

· Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and creative approach to design, audio, and video production.

· Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.

· Detail oriented with high accuracy and ability to multitask.

· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenges on the fly.

· Computer proficiency (Email, Word, and strong Excel skills)

· Must be willing and able to commute to the Sixthman office located in Atlanta, GA
