Operations Coordinator – Purchasing, Logistics and Enhanced Experiences


Works in conjunction with the Purchasing, Branding, Enhanced Experiences, Design and Logistics team to research, quote, design, order, ship/transport and inventory the Company’s Merchandise, Collateral and owned assets across all events and outlets. Collaboration with several teams including Event Managers, Community Managers, Creative, Marketing, Operations, outside vendors and Event Merchandise Teams.


Organize, Support, Coordinate, Innovate, Communicate, Process


  • Research, quote and order the Company’s Merchandise, Collateral and Marketing initiatives as needed to support the Operations Specialist – Purchasing.
    • Obtain multiple quotes on collateral items to ensure the best cost and value for the event, within prescribed budgets.
    • Place & track collateral orders following strict timelines for delivery.
    • Adhere to and maintain established budgets.
    • Update gifting budgets consistently for Purchasing and Event Managers to Review.
    • Continuously oversee assigned projects & deadlines and escalate any timelines which are in danger of being missed.
    • Coordinate with Logistics Specialist on end-to-end delivery of merchandise and collateral domestic and international
    • Support Marketing and sponsorship campaigns for promotional event collateral requests
    • Support Enhanced Experience Team unique collateral requests
  • Track inventory and maintain stock of all Sixthman generic branded collateral used across all sailings and in the office.
  • Assist Logistics Specialist with tracking and manifesting collateral and Sixthman owned assets.
  • Compile load in information for Logistics Specialist to streamline flow for embarkation days.
  • Assist with the design, edits, organization, ordering, shipping, and installation kits for Branding across all events.
  • Oversee and coordinate the company’s uniform program for Event Staff, Production and Business Development
  • Build and maintain gifting histories Look Book.
  • Maintain Inventory in the Wheelhouse database of all Event collateral orders.
  • Maintain reference documents on all vendors.
  • Assist with organization and communication to our various Event Merchandise Teams to create a seamless flow as they transition in and out of sailings.
  • Assist, maintain and inventory Sixthman owned assets stored in warehouse.
  • Attend several of the company events on cruise ships and at land festivals/resorts.
  • Attend weekly Operations meetings.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience (purchasing and/or logistics experience a plus)
  • Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Good organization skills and ability to manage one’s own time
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes or challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple event budgets simultaneously
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer proficiency (Email, Word, and Excel skills)
  • Knowledge of software preferred.



Represent Operations in discussions with internal customers including Event Managers, Community Managers, Creative, Marketing, Operations, outside vendors, Event Merchandise Teams and Cruise Line Purchasing teams. Proactively provide knowledge to team with new gifting ideas, best practices, budget concerns and processes
