Sign up for the Pre-Sale and receive priority booking! Simple Man Cruise alumni will book first with earliest booking times assigned in order of when they joined the Simple Man Jam pre-sale.

Simple Man Cruise alumni who have already joined the pre-sale will receive their EBT (earliest booking time) on January 21st - alumni who haven’t yet joined, make sure you sign up by August 20th to be included! Alumni booking will begin on January 22nd.

Sign up for the Pre-Sale to be assigned an Earliest Booking Time (EBT) and have the chance to book after Simple Man Cruise alumni but before the general public. Booking times will be spread throughout several days so that we may provide you the best possible guest service experience as you make your reservation.

Non-Simple Man Cruise Alumni who have already joined the pre-sale will receive their EBTs on Thursday January 23rd and booking will begin on January 27th.

Programming will begin around 6:00pm ET on each day of Simple Man Jam. During the day, enjoy all that the resort has to offer with light programming of activities. Each night will be filled with shows, artist collaborations and jam sessions! We'll announce more details of the schedule when we get closer to our family reunion!

Rosen Shingle Creek has many bars and restaurants throughout the hotel as well as pool-side wait staff with a wide variety of beer, wine and spirits available for purchase. 

If you prefer to bring a unique craft beer or fix a homemade specialty cocktail for example, guests are welcome to bring beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for their own personal consumption to stock your suite at Rosen Shingle Creek. 

Please be aware that any alcoholic beverages purchased off property and any coolers must be brought directly to your room and are not permitted in public areas.

Room Selection

During booking you will select your desired room category and occupancy. Your room assignment will be appointed upon check-in at the hotel.

Guest Permissions

If you were a Lead Guest on a prior event and are sailing with the same traveling companions, they'll be in a dropdown list for you to add to your room.

If you're traveling with someone who has a Sixthman username but has NOT vacationed with you previously, have them sign in to their Sixthman profile and add your username to their Approved Lead Guests list here. They'll then be on the dropdown list for you while booking.

Naming Guests

You can add your traveling companions later but fees may apply. See more details here. You are obligated for the full room fare of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process even if you do not add guests to fill your entire room. If you wish to add guests beyond the capacity of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process you may do so based on availability and for the additional room fare associated with the transaction.

Credit Card Payments

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are all accepted. If you are paying with multiple credit cards, you will need all of the credit card numbers (with expiration date and card verification number) as well as the name and billing address for each card.

To let someone add you to their reservation, you'll need to have a Sixthman profile and add your lead passenger to your Approved Lead Guests list. 

Create a Sixthman profile here, or sign in to your existing profile. 

Then, in the Guest Permissions section here, click the Approve A New Lead Guest button and enter your lead passenger's username.

You're all set, the lead passenger can now add you as a guest in their rroom. Hooray!

Your Family Reunion vacation with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sixthman ends the morning of August 24th, with our last show the night of the 23rd. If you are departing on the 24th, you must be checked out by 11:00 am.

No, airfare is not included in the festival package. 

While some artists might stay for the duration of the event, others might not, depending on their schedules and family commitments. 

Paid in Full Discount*

Reservations made through February 22, 2020 that are paid in full within 72 hours of booking will receive a 5% discount off room fare. The Paid In Full Discount will only apply if the entire room is paid for and is not available on a per person basis.

Military Discount*

Guests who are active, veteran, or retired military are eligible to receive a 5% discount off room fare for the entire room. To receive this discount, please email one of the following items below to simplemanjam@sixthman.net after your reservation has been confirmed. Please blacken out your social security number before sending.

  • Copy of the military LES (Leave and Earning Statement)
  • Copy of military retirement papers (DD214 or DD256)
  • Copy of proof of honorable discharge (Form DD214)
  • Proof for Cadets: A letter from his/her Commander or a copy of a military pay stub.

If you decide not to do automatic monthly billing, this minimum payment schedule allows guests to make installment payments for your trip over a period of time. The date that you place your reservation will dictate your minimum deposit amount, after which you would be required to make any future payments according to the schedule. To make a payment on an existing reservation, please sign in to your account.

Payment Schedule - King Rooms:

  • $250 per person due at the time of reservation and;
  • Another $300 per person is due on February 22, 2020
  • Another $350 per person is due on March 22, 2020
  • Another $400 per person is due on April 22, 2020
  • Remaining 100% is due on May 22nd, 2020

Payment Schedule - Parlor Rooms:

  • $350 per person due at the time of reservation and;
  • Another $400 per person is due on February 22, 2020
  • Another $500 per person is due on March 22, 2020
  • Another $550 per person is due on April 22, 2020
  • Remaining 100% is due on May 22nd, 2020

Payment Schedule - Queen Rooms:

  • $250 per person due at the time of reservation and;

To make a payment, booked guests can sign in to their Sixthman account and click 'Make a Payment' next to their reservation. Any named guest on a reservation can submit an online payment.

Payments can also be made via phone by calling Sixthman at 877-738-2761.

You may purchase travel protection while placing your reservation online or by calling Sixthman Guest Services at 1-877-738-2761 after your reservation has been placed. Travel Protection is sold per person and based of the amount you'd like covered (minimum coverage is the per person cost of the room plus all taxes and fees). You may also call Sixthman to request additional coverage for other travel, such as airfare.

For a complete list of rates and coverage details please visit www.sixthman.net/protection. Please note that the CFAR benefit (CANCEL FOR ANY REASON) is in addition to the standard policy and allows a refund of up to 50% of the non-refundable Trip Cost for reservations that are canceled without a covered reason up until 48 hours prior to the event. This benefit must be purchased within 21 days of trip purchase.

The Lead Guest on the reservation is responsible for making sure minimum payments are met. However, each guest can log in (or call in) individually to make their own payment for their share of the room with their own credit card information.

When making the reservation, the Lead Guest can pay for only their portion of the minimum initial deposit, but the reservation must be brought current within 72 hours. Within this time frame, other guests can make their initial payments. The Lead Guest is responsible for making sure the reservation is current within 72 hours or will risk cancellation.

Only Lead Guests can request to change or remove existing guests, or to upgrade to a higher priced category. Downgrading your room to a room of lesser value is not allowed. The Lead Guest must request these changes by phone or email.

If applicable, reservations are subject to a Lead Guest change fee of $299. No lead guest changes or transfers are permitted after May 22, 2020 OR once the event is on a waiting list, whichever comes first.

ALL names must be received by May 22, 2020. Each reservation is allowed one free name change prior to May 22, 2020. Additional changes prior to that date are subject to a $50 administrative fee per change.

Any changes, including adding unnamed guests made after May 22, 2020, but more than one week before the event are $75 per change. Any changes, including adding unnamed guests made within a week of the event are $100 per change. Changes or additions made within the week prior to the event must be done in person at check-in, and may incur a fee up to $299 per change.

If you are the lead guest with an existing reservation you can add a guest online. First, your guest needs a Sixthman Username, and needs to give you permission to add them to your room.

Provide your guest with your Sixthman Username, and have them create a Sixthman profile here, or login to their existing profile. In the Guest Permissions section have them add you to their Approved Lead Guest list.

Once they're done, you can login to your profile and they'll appear in Your Authorized Guests list. Now, go to your current reservation and add them in the Personal Information section.

One week after missing a scheduled payment date, a late fee of $35 is added to the reservation.

Three weeks after missing a scheduled payment date, a final notice of impending cancellation is sent, and the reservation may be cancelled by Sixthman within 7 days.

If you are unable to make a payment as scheduled, please contact Sixthman PRIOR to the payment due date. In extreme circumstances, alternate payment schedules may be arranged. Alternate payment schedules are solely at the discretion of Sixthman. Defaulting on alternate payment arrangements will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation.

After you have completed the booking process, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your request pending availability and capacity of the hotel.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create a reservation and accept the Lead Guest responsibilities. Guests of all ages may attend the event however any guest under 18-years-old they must be accompanied* by a guest 18 years or older. NO exceptions will be made at the hotel.

Yes! Self parking is FREE to all guests of the festival.

Valet parking is available for the following*:

  • Valet Parking – All Day - $26.00 + 6.5% tax
  • Valet - Overnight per Night - $26.00 + 6.5% tax
     

RV parking is available but limited. Please let our Guest Services team know during the booking process if you plan to park an RV during the event.

A valid state issued ID is required upon check-in. 

Please remember, at time of booking, you acknowledged that the laws that regulate the necessary travel documentation are subject to change and that it is your responsibility to be aware of what is required for travel.

Rosen Shingle Creek welcomes dogs that are current on vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian is required. To keep your dogs and guests happy, safe, and comfortable, we ask that pet owners act responsibly and follow the guidelines listed here. Additionally, you will need to download and complete the Pet Policy Form.

While programming might run later, quiet hours in each room will be in effect from 12:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Photos and short video clips are allowed. However, please respect your fellow guests and be unobtrusive when taking photos or video clips.

The following are not permitted at any performances or activities:

  • Detachable lenses longer than 3”
  • Filming an entire performance
  • Flash photography
  • GoPro or similar style action cameras
  • iPad or other tablets
  • Professional audio or video equipment
  • Selfie sticks, monopods or tripods

 

Sixthman reserves the right to ask guests to stop filming or taking photos at any time to preserve the guest experience and honor the wishes of our artists.

Babysitting is available on site through Kid's Nite Out! The service is not included in the package of your vacation. Reservations required. Arrangements can be made closer to the festival.

The dress code for Simple Man Jam is very relaxed. We want you to be comfortable! There is a suggested dress code of formal attire for select sit down restaurants. As we get closer to the event, we’ll announce several "theme nights" – so be prepared to get creative and join in on the fun!

All guests attending Simple Man Jam must have a reservation booked through Sixthman and must be staying at Rosen Shingle Creek to attend the shows. There are no day passes or off-site passes available for this event.

Gratuities are optional and not included in the price of the festival. The hotel recommends $3.00 per guest room/day for Housekeeper and $10.00 per person for round-trip baggage handling for Bell Staff.

Rosen Shingle Creek is a smoke-free hotel and applies to all areas of the hotel with the exception of designated outdoor areas.

Check-in begins around 3:00pm and is available throughout the day. If you arrive early, the front desk will safeguard your luggage until you're ready to retrieve and carry it to your room. The staff will notify you when your room is ready. Go enjoy the amenities baggage & hands-free!

Your information and requirements will be sent to Rosen Shingle Creek approximately 60 days prior to the event. If your needs require more advanced notice, the Sixthman team will notify the hotel accordingly. Approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the festival you will receive additional information regarding how you may contact the hotel directly for any additional questions you may have.

The hotel is equipped with ramps throughout the hotel; including reception, restaurant and pool areas. There are elevators located in all buildings and lobbies. 

At time of booking, please discuss your needs with the Sixthman Guest Services team by contacting us. We will notify the hotel for guests with specific medical dietary restrictions upon request. Refrigerators are available in all rooms for storing insulin.

If you have any food allergy or a dietary requirement that requires Kosher meals or gluten free food products, please advise Sixthman at the time of booking. Obtaining the product for many of these requests requires 45-days notice prior to the event, and we want to ensure that the hotel is able to fulfill your request. We cannot guarantee Kosher meal or gluten free food product requests made within 45 days of festival date.

Rosen Shingle Creek has an emergency response team that is well trained on emergency procedures. Additionally, there are a variety of hospitals and care centers within close proximity to Rosen Shingle Creek.

Whether you are admitted to the hotel's medical center or a medical facility in Orlando, your medical expenses will be your out-of-pocket responsibility. Please check with your insurance provider for more information.
